Dr. Hirubhai Patel has 40 years of experience in the Ayurvedic field. After a postgraduate in Ayurvedic Medicine, he became a professor, principle and Hospital superintendent at the J. S. Ayurveda College and Hospitals and the Director of Panchkarma. He is the President of All India Ayurvedic Post Graduate Association and a Member of both the Gujarat Board of Ayurvedic and Unani Systems of Medicine and the Central Council of Indian Medicine. Amongst many other responsibilities, he is a Member of the Senate &the Syndicate, the Scientific Advisory Committee and the Examination Control Board of the Gujarat Ayurveda University. He is the President of the All India Ayurvedic Congress and the adviser of both the Gujarat Ayurved Pharmacy Graduate Association and the Gujarat Ayurved Pancha Karma Prishad. He has contributed to several Conferences on Herbal Sciences and was invited to several Maharashi European Centres for lectures, talks and consultations, as well as to the First International Ayurveda Conference in Mauritius. He has published the following: Ayurvediya Swasth-Vrutta (a textbook of Health &Hygiene), Dosh Dhatu Mala Vignan (a book of Physiology) and Asava Kalpana Vimarsh (Thesis). In 1999, the doctor has won several awards for the best quality of Ayurvedic Products in India and for the purity of their contents.
